In honor of Malala Day 2014 and Malala Yousafzai's Nobel Peace Prize, Girls Write Now--a mentorship program facilitating writing opportunities for at-risk and underserved girls from New York City’s public high schools--commissioned a video with music by legendary folk singer-songwriter Suzzy Roche. On International Day of the Girl 2014 the video debuted on a global stage at the United Nations.
